COME MEET OUR NEWEST SOCK AMBASSADOR AND BRING NEW SOCKS FOR THE HOMELESS!
•Meet & have your photo taken with Mrs. Colorado America Erica Shields
•For every NEW pair of socks and/or $1 donated you will receive a ticket to be entered into a drawing for restaurant gift certificates, etc
•Bring your own picnic lunch and beverage
•Paper goods, napkins, utensils and desserts provided by Sock It To Em Sock Campaign
•Bring lawn games, folding chairs, blankets for that old fashioned Picnic FUN in the park
•Don’t forget bikes to enjoy the 1.4 mile walking and bike path

We will have a bean bag toss and volleyball too and a few other surprises. Kids playground is nearby.
Erica Shields has a heart and passion for helping others and is contributing time, energy and effort towards multiple causes in our community. Erica was drawn to the cause of the Sock It To Em Sock Campaign and the need that the homeless have for socks. Socks are the #1 clothing need of the homeless. Sock It To Em Sock Campaign is making a social impact one pair of socks at a time and we welcome your sock and cash donations!
All type of socks are welcome although Erica is requesting baby, kids and women socks because her passions and community outreach lean towards helping youth and women. Baby sock donations will be given to Children’s Hospital of Denver-Maternal and Fetal Center and The Kempe Foundation Center for abused children at the hospital.
Your attending the Socks = Love Event Picnic in the Park will help us Sock It To The Homeless!

Enter off of Bowles Avenue at the Columbine Library entrance between Pierce and Wadsworth. DO NOT PARK IN LIBRARY LOT! Take concrete pathway uphill to Pavilion #3. Look for Red, White and Blue balloons.
Alcohol 3.2% is permitted ONLY in can or keg form. Glass bottles and containers are NOT permitted!
